  • Star Trek was a lot of fun, and mercifully easy to understand, especially for a non-Trekker/ie like me. I went in just wanting to be entertained, and I got that and more. I just saw JLM in the really inaccurate Mansfield Park production, and I really have a thing for BBC heros ....

Those all his secret tattoo's do seem a little off putting.

So Star Trek is completely watch-able for a non-fan, even if I've never even watched a single episode and wouldn't even understand the "beam me up Scotty" reference? XD

I also saw the trailer for 9 yesterday... and shivered the whole way through. Did they have to make the main characters look so... strange and unloveable? >

NOT A HORROR MOVIE.

Yes, I'm a complete non-fan and I got through it pretty well. Scotty is played by Simon Pegg and his fake scottish accent is the most adorable thing ever.

Second to Anton Chekhov, really. (And I laugh, thinking that this boy is going to be playing Maki's ex boyfriend in Memoirs of a teenage amnesiac.)
