[Public. Except for T'Pol. You don't get to see.]I got a question, maybe it's a weird one but. You gotta friend here from back home. Maybe they're not even a friend, just someone you work with or know from around the place. Hell, maybe you even hate that person. Say you're both from different points in your life, you're from one year, and they're ( Read more... )

[She hadn't told him for a reason, though at the moment T'Pol was hard pressed to convince herself that they hadn't been completely selfish reasons. Perhaps it was knowing that he would want to know the outcome of the Xindi crisis - maybe it was knowing that it would be harder if they were both awkward around each other. Maybe she just missed him.

Loathe as she was to admit it, that was the logical answer.

T'Pol sat at her desk, looking out the window. When she heard the knock, she turned toward the door, but didn't stand.]

Come in.

[Do southerners hate on Vulcans so much because they're so alike? :| She shifts, walking between desk and bed because this just isn't fair. The details are pretty much out of the question, but she's inclined to tell him the big picture. Especially since there are so many Starfleet people aboard that could tell him the same. So she stops and turns to him, and nods once. UNCERTAINLY.]

[Probably. You remind them of themselves with pointier ears. It's depressing. Trip lets out something a large sigh of relief and his shoulders even slump a little bit.]

"Thank you."

[Humans are jealous of their ears. She knows this for a fact. And she isn't entirely sure how to respond to that, since. They lost a lot of crewmen. So she just nods again, hands unconsciously doing that wringing thing.]

[Best course of action. T'Pol inclines her head and crosses to the door, opening it for him. Go go go she's freaked. :c]
