Before you run out and get your flu shot, you might want to think about who you're letting inject you. Where did these vaccines come from? How do we know what's in them? Whether they'll work? Whether they're serving some other purpose? Genetic markers. Biological or chemical testing. You never know ( Read more... )

Especially if you don't know what's in 'em.

Yeah- and the deities have made curses out of sicknesses before- why would they care about one now?

Possibly because it's out of their control.

More likely, I think, because they want people, willingly, to be 'vaccinated.'

I'd agree with you, except that considering how many people are getting sick, I wonder if there'll be any of us left well to take care of things.

I can't help it, I just don't trust immunizations anymore.

Smallpox vaccinations in the United States have been used to inject DNA markers which allow subjects to be tracked without their knowledge.

To be honest, I'm surprised that so many people are trusting vaccines from the deities - especially considering just how much distrust there is normally. I guess when it's convenient, they'll flock to the 'bad guys.'

Personally, I wouldn't. Then again, maybe it's a horrible super-flu that only those suffering from it can know the full, tragic extent of it.

No matter how bad the flu is, there's gotta be something worse than it. If nothing else, willingly getting a shot means giving up the right to complain when something dreadful happens, right?

Right. Buuut they will anyway.

Well, of course. What else is there to do to pass the time?

A friend of mine. A woman, my neighbor, Eden McCain. She was turned to stone.

My other friend Peter tells me that she has an ongoing thought process. Whatever they are, they aren't fully dead. Comatose in that state, perhaps.

We haven't met. Doctor Suresh.

How is your friend aware of her thought processes? Is she able to communicate in spite of her state? Do you know where she was, who the last person to speak to her was?

Nice to meet you, Dr. Suresh. Fox Mulder.

She was out of doors. The last person to speak with her was myself. The person to find her was one Princess Amidala.

Peter Petrelli is capable of decoding and reading psychical energies. A telepath. He's not of a great talent, but he was capable of discerning that much.

A pleasure, Mr. Mulder.

Hmn. Do you know of anyone who might have wanted to do this to her? Or why? I'm not even touching how with a ten-foot pole right now.

Well, that's comforting... Handy telepaths, I love this place sometimes... From what I hear, there's a good chance it'll wear off in a couple of days.

The blood-covered girl?

Do we have any idea how she was hurt, what she was doing, why she did it?

That's the one.

I'd talk to DiNozzo for the details, he was the one in charge of the interrogation.
