Whether they're serving some other purpose? Genetic markers. Biological or chemical testing. You never know

To be honest, I'm surprised that so many people are trusting vaccines from the deities - especially considering just how much distrust there is normally. I guess when it's convenient, they'll flock to the 'bad guys.'

Personally, I wouldn't. Then again, maybe it's a horrible super-flu that only those suffering from it can know the full, tragic extent of it.
