Only Stephen King Fans Will Really Care

So I got bored, and I can't remember the exact situation. I think I was watching a quiz show and one of the questions mentioned Wordsworth's 'I wandered lonely as a cloud' poem, so I started reimaginging 'cloud' as 'clown' and then with the word 'float' in the second line I was gone. I created this pointless little piece.

Yay! And I left this public [so that everyone can recognise my genius, of course] so your friend will be able to read it, if they wish!

This actually makes me appreciate IT (and Stephen King) more.

Wow, thank you! It's weird, it almost feels like you're hearing his side of the story, which we never do in the book!

I can't say I'm a big King fan, but I do enjoy IT. I like the idea of him reading this poem and thinking something like, "Oh, cloud! I thought it said clown!" and turning that idea into a story.

As I am 369 pages into reading IT at the moment, I hope you don't mind I'm going to print it out as a bookmark!

Yay, that's awesome! Just stick my name at the bottom so in years to come you remember who wrote it!

As someone who really cannot stand the original poem, and was terrified out of their mind by IT, this is both terrifying and a great improvement on the original!

Haha, thank you! I have to say, I have no real feelings for the poem either way, I never really sit and read classic poetry. My friend suggested I should do a series of these, and perhaps I will!
