I'm not sure what the kiss/lack of is, but I did start watching Order of the Phoenix when I got home last night after drinking 7 or so ciders.
I'm still incredibly bitter of the way the third movie went. They took out one of the key tie-ins (that the stag was Harry's dad's shape) when all it would've taken was two scripted lines during that scene when Lupus and Harry just stared at each other. I remember thinking, "Ok, say it now, say it now, this is important," and they just did NOTHING. What a gyp!
There's no kiss?! I guess this means they are saving H/G's first kiss for Deathly Hallows. It seems like movie!H/G is going to be very different from book!H/G. Even though I ship H/G there are so many things I don't like about H/G in the books - sadly, I find JKR ability to write romance lacking, I only started to really like this pairing after reading some good fanfics - so I am really hoping that H/G is done better in the movie. Anyway, even with no kiss, as long as there is a good amount of well-done romantic tension between H/G in the movie I'll be happy! And at least Bonnie finally gets more screen time :)
There is a kiss, but its not the original scene as in the book. They've moved most of it around, and added more 'near-kisses' scenes. I'll admit, I'm kind of intrigued to see how they'll do it.
I'll admit, I'm kind of intrigued to see how they'll do it. Me too! Usually I complain when the movie is different from the book, but with HP they change so many things, I have been forced to get used to it LOL. When it comes to H/G, the main thing I am worried about is the chemistry between Dan and Bonnie...the chemistry between Dan and Katie wasn't that great, hopefully that isn't going to be a problem with Dan and Bonnie...
