It wasn't very scary, and not the best horror movie I've ever seen, but it wasn't that bad, either. Passable

I would say it is worth it to giggle over him chopping wood shirtless every 20 minutes.

I thought it was pretty scary, well, because of the disturbing little girl at the end of the movie.
To think that it's a true story makes me paranoid. :|
