The appeal of men being cute with small children defies all barriers of age, race, sexual orientation, etc! Unless you hate men. Or small children. In which case I don't really know what to say...

Ryo with a little kid is cute, but Last Friends' Sousuke is another case. But I guess they are trying to show that there are more sides to him than just the possessive, jealous side.

The drama/SP that really made my ovaries ache and my tearducts overflow was Kimi ga Kureta Natsu where Takizawa Hidea and Fukada Kyoko play a young pair whose child is dying of cancer. There were some total tearjerker moments there...
