Really interesting look at the characters - I like June's line about being disappointed in Peter at the start - subtle and says a lot. And true, if Neal really were too stressed and tired, he wouldn't say anything probably. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for your comment. I think the first line of dialogue I wrote for this was June's "Peter, you disappoint me," and just had to go from there.

This is great! I love June's kindness here and her insistence on looking out for Neal.

Thank you so much. I always thought that June wouldn't actually fight Neal's battles, but she'd make sure the playing field was level.

Really really liked this--liked that June is watching out for Neal, and liked the interplay between the three of them. Great job.

I really liked June being concerned about Neal - and Peter, too, when it was pointed out to him. This was very sweet!

Thanks so much. I believe that Peter would trust June on all things Neal, especially those feeling-thingies that he claims not to be good with.

Loved your June, she was so in character and so caring about our poor boy.

And, speaking of your poor boy, bourbon for breakfast, ugh.

Nicely done.

Thanks so much for your comments.

Mimosas with brunch, sure, but anything 86 to 100 proof? "Ugh" describes it pretty well!
