Happy New Year!

Jan 01, 2006 03:53

"The Past is, in many things, the foe of mankind; the Future is, in all things, our friend."

-Melville.

Every time I hear that quote, I feel like I could kill a whale. Happy New Year everyone!

May it be a better one than the last! I think this every yr and with one exception(we will NOT mention 1997!) it's been true.

Happy New Year, says the random person.

You're the first addition to my flist in 2006.

(These posts always make me feel like a dork, but I hate friending people without at least leaving a comment saying that I'm doing so. So... erm... COMMENT.)

Oh, I don't mind either way. I usually get people in and out a couple of times. It's funny. :) Happy New Year to you, too!

Get up, get up, you'll scare the children! *Giggles madly* I'm glad you liked it! I really didn't mean for it to end up that long. It was honestly going to be a plot, plot, porn, and then it... didn't want to do that. ;)

I was writing this up to the deadline, past two extentions--I literally turned it in about ten minutes before midnight the last day Gina said she'd be accepting stories. (We fear the modly hammer; it is great.) I still need to go back and fix a bunch of stuff that my betas caught but I didn't have time to fix.

Thank you for requesting this pairing and something romantic--it was a pleasure to write.
