I'm so glad that you liked this. The combination of werewolves and verse threw me at first, too, but I came to it on the glowing recommendation of a friend—and thank goodness for that recommendation, because this book blew me away. I think many readers avoid it for the werewolves and the rest avoid it for the verse, when rather both should be burrowing deep within it. Both the content and the style, I think, are exceptional. It has become one of my favorite books, and my favorite werewolf novel by far. It's great to see that you saw the same in it, and I hope that on the basis of your recommendation someone else picks it up that never thought to before. It deserves a wider audience.
