Thanks for posting this review, very interesting. I've never been much of a novel writer so I appreciated your perspective around that vs. being in short story mode. Also thanks for mentioning it's available as a digital copy off Amazon, I might check that out.

I am currently on the back side of the publishing process with Book I of an epic fantasy novel that incorporates aspects of Sci-fi. While the fundamental advice of writing (a page a day or whatever session you can muster) the manuscript is a joy to be embraced, there is no time too soon to begin information gathering and strategic planning for agents, marketing and publishing. Your advice to read this guide is well taken. You should incorporate many such guides/reference pieces in your library, and also talk with writers at events, conventions and on-line forums. It chronicles my experience (good and bad) with writing the fantasy novel, finding the agent and getting it published. It does not make me an expert, but I think there are (and will be) many nuggets therein for aspiring and active writers ( ... )
