Those of you who follow this blog know that last year, I bought a supporting membership to the Hugos so that for the first time ever, I could vote on the nominees. It was, in short, quite the immersive experience. I wanted to read every nomination in the fiction categories, and that took a lot of time. I don't begrudge that time, however, because

I'm attending WorldCon this year and I'm looking forward to voting for the first time! I will post my recommended list at the end of the month.

If you have time and can afford it, attend the con!! I waffled about going, but had such a good time in Chicago, I decided to go this year (even though I hate most of the asshat Texas politicians).

We'll see. I'm not really into attending conventions, but who knows? Maybe I'll fork over the cash this year and do it. Depends on who gets nominated. :)
