Out of curiousity, did you like this one a little better than the first? I really feel like the first book is ok, but very weak compared to the later books.

The series is definitely getting better. While the writing was good in the first, I never connected so I didn't buy the rest of the series. The only reason I'm reading it now is for research, so I'm glad a friend of mine let me borrow her copies. :) I'm also glad that I'm enjoying the series much more now. :)
