Do you also suffer from white coat hypertension? That could help explain the normal BP at the doctor’s office. I would go with the home monitor for that reason.
Not usually, only used to when the doctors were late, a load of kids running about and the waiting room was full to overflowing. things are quieter, thankfully, but if you are walking quite fast down a corridor, then I challenge anyone's heart rate to be as calm as a lake. Once upon a time, they'd let you have a breather - but the standard time now for seeing a patient is 8 minutes. You're measured and you're out.
It’S the same here. I get nervous when left sitting waiting for the doctor, I always feel like they are re-reading the chart to figure out how to deliver bad news.
