Book List: 2007
I meant to post this yesterday, but New Year's Eve was busy as hell, so it's a day late, so to speak. Come to think of it, I'm rather late with quite a few of "year-end" posts, and since I don't know when I'll get around to them, you'll just have to make due with this.
It hasn't been a bad year for reading. I got burnt out really fast on short fiction magazines and had to take a break from them, but I hope to catch up sometime this year. It depends on where my reading tastes take me, and who knows where that'll be. At any rate, here's the stats for 2007:
Total novels read: 70 (Ten more from last year. And like last year, this does not include short fiction mags. If those were included, the total would be 75, which means my overall total from last year slightly lower, but that's okay)
Total fiction mags read: 5 (Like I said, I got burnt out)
Total short stories read: 94 (This includes stories from short fiction mags and anthologies)
Total graphic novels read: 1 (Obviously does not include any individual comic book issues I read during the year)
So overall, not a bad count. When I look at the totals, it's not quite as impressive as last year, save for 10 more novels, but this year has been insanely busy, so I'm happy with it. Maybe I'll hit 80 novels next year. Who knows? :)
