SUPER BOOK SALE BLOWOUT!!!
So as evidenced by this picture, I've got a LOT of books and very little space to put them (these are in my closet, and to the left, outside of the picture, are five Tupperware containers with MORE books). Since I started the Book Sale back in 2009, I've made some headway moving books out (Paperback Swap has helped too), but I'm quickly reaching the point where I'm ready to CLEAR OUT SOME SPACE come hell or high water. In other words, I'm getting close to boxing stuff up and taking the hour drive to a used book store in hopes they'll take them. I don't want to do that, since I know I won't get much at all, and besides, I'd rather see the books go to people I know will give them good homes.
I promised a BIG EPIC EVENT regarding the book sale, and here it is: SUPER BOOK BLOWOUT!
What does that mean? It means the books listed in the book sale are priced as the following:
Hardcovers: $5.00 each
Trade Paperbacks: $3.00 each
Mass Market Paperbacks: $1.00 each
YA Hardcovers: $4.00 each
YA Trade Paperbacks: $2.00 each
It's just that simple. Shipping costs still apply as normal.

Note that most books have two prices: what I WAS selling them for and what I'm selling them for now. The lowest price is the sale price, unless I made a mistake and the format doesn't match the price list above, in which case, I'll tell you the proper price.
Once you've decided what you want, shoot me an email (calico.reaction@gmail.com) and use Super Book Blowout as the subject heading, and give me the following information:
1) The names of the books you want.
2) Your real name with your mailing address
3) Shipping preference. You're paying for it, so it's up to you. If no preference, I'll get the cheapest possible option, which is usually Media Mail.
4) Do you want the package to be insured? Yes or no.*
5) Do you need tracking for the package? Yes or no.*
6) The email address you use for PayPal transactions.
* = These options may not be available outside of the US.
What happens then is I'll mark the books you've requested as reserved (aka, take them off the "For Sale" list; it's first come, first serve). Then I'll package up your books and take the box to the post office to find out how much shipping, insurance and/or tracking costs. I will then an email with the total amount due for books and shipping, and wait for 1) your approval and once I get that, I'll send you a PayPal invoice so you can your payment before I ship the package off to you.
Note: approval is so that you have a chance to change your mind. Maybe shipping's more than you thought it would be, or maybe you've changed your mind about the title. Once you approve the purchase and send the money, I'll send the package. HOWEVER, please be timely with your approval. Others may be waiting for the book you're deciding on, and I have limited days to get to a post office. Watch your inbox carefully for the approval email; then you'll get an invoice, and once paid, I'll notify you once I've shipped your package.
Note about shipping: the more you buy, the more you'll save. Seriously. Media mail is pretty cheap when sending multiple books. Obviously, that only applies if you live in the US.
And yes, I'll ship outside of the US. After all, you're paying for it. But please know that shipping outside of the US is higher than shipping within the US, so--depending on where you live in the world--the money you save on the books you may end up spending for shipping. It's your call, and that's why I wait for your approval and payment before shipping. :)
To pay, you have a couple of options: you can either write me a check or use PayPal. I have no preference, just note that checks will take longer to arrive, which means you'll have to wait longer for me to ship your books. Which I don't mind doing, as long as you don't. ;)
Once I ship the books, I'll let you know the shipping date. Please return the favor by letting me know when the package arrives, so I don't have to sweat it. :)
If you have any questions about any of the available titles, or anything about the process, please don't hesitate to ask. At this point, I don't know how long this Book Blowout is going to last, but these prices won't last forever. I'll warn you when the SUPER SALE will be over, and when the books will be going back to their original prices.
