Question & Favor
I'm to ask all of you a question, and as a favor, I'd like you to leave your answer as a comment in this entry. The point of this is 1) to give you all something to possibly look forward to and 2) ensure my email change to this journal went through okay, despite LJ telling me it did. Once I start getting comments at my new email address, I'll be much happier. :)
So here's the deal:
I haven't done a giveaway since the start of January, and it's high time for another. This time last year, I put up not one, but TWO. My giveaways tend to run one every six months, so it's time for another. The problem is, I don't know what to do.
In January, the giveaway always relates to my "favorite reads" list from the previous year. Last summer, I'd given myself two separate reading projects (a fantasy booklist and a writer's block booklist), so those books from those projects ended up in the giveaways.
But right now, I have no such reading projects, and obviously, there won't be a "favorite books of the year" until next January. So, what do you think? Based on what I'm doing in this journal, or based on what I read on a regular basis, what kind of giveaway should I do next? What's the theme, or do you want to give me a reading project? Lay it on me! :)
