Once again, Stargate Universe proves to be entirely predictable. Did Rush know all along? Again, these writers are fucking morons. He had a theory, perhaps - no more. I swear the writers were all home schooled by the christian right which can't tell the difference between science and magic.

I'm an addict. Sure, I know its bad for me but if all I can find is a dirty needle, I'm still going to use it to get my fix.

But surely, any technology far enough advanced is indistinguishable from magic - and any tech that is still distinguishable has not advanced far enuff and needs more R&D, to paraphrase Arthur C. Clark.

I guess that stargate wants to take us to a time when this happens - even so, I can't say i am a great fan myself.

Sure any sufficiently advanced *technology* is indistinguishable from magic. But if that were the case, Rush wouldn't be able to figure it out.
