LOL wow, Beta-max, my dad still has a player but he's not sure if it still works. I'd never even heard of this movie before I saw it linked from another site. Young Jeff Goldblum, and a bunch of other people! Looking forward to seeing this ;)
Our player actually still works. It's actually our second one and came from my dad. It just wasn't hooked up to the tv and the hundreds of tapes were just collecting dust since most of the stuff we actually watched we'd already collected on DVD.
The BB tape was a preview copy hubby got when he was covering home video for a newspaper. We saw the movie in the theater but it was so long ago that I don't remember anything about it. Except for that line I quoted above. That was the main attraction of the movie, the rather absurd way BB spoke. I remember not really caring all that much for it but after watching the trailer, I kind of want to see it again. I mean yeah, Jeff Goldblum and John Lithgow? How can you lose with those two?
