Japan post #4: Kifune and the Kuruma Fire Festival

All right, two galleries to show you this time...'cause I'm a photo nut ^^;; So October 22nd Jenny and I headed up to the mountains north of Kyoto to see the Kuruma fire festival. it must've been more fascinating to see it live,
but the photos are utterly beautiful!!

Thank you! It was pretty fascinating, but I wish we could have really seen the festival better, instead we spent most of the time being lost in crowds :P We also left before the very end of the festival when they carry the portable shrines, we were so cold and wet we knew we wouldn't last that long, besides we didn't want to get stuck on the last trains out! ^_^;;
