The Election heard 'round the world...

So back in Kyoto again after a weekend in Saga, I'll post more details with photos and such after the trip is done ;) One thing I really like about staying in hostels is you get to meet people from all over the world. The rest of the world is keeping basic tabs on the American election this year, because more than ever it matters who gets to win (especially with policies on war, terrorism, and economics on the line).

Outside America, most foreigners want Obama to win, partly because he looks friendlier and has better stage presence, partly because we buy his basic tagline of stopping 4 more years of Bush policy.

Another reason why Obama needs to win! lol

He'd definatly be a boost to our image, especially at this time when we need it badly. I can't help but wonder if some of my co-workers who say we need to wipe Iran or China away realize if we were to actually do that...we would effectivly have alienated ourselves from the world and made a ton of enemmies which would makes us a LOT more at risk then we currently are.

Right now the thing that worries me is all these rumors on Voter intimidation, fraud, and all these people's registrations being declared invalid and purged from systems (which they can't do in the 90 days before an election). The Republicans are only doing it so they can declare shananigans if Obama wins. It's angering to see that kind of thing.
