I felt it while I was checking my e-mail/LJ in the morning before work. I'm not surprised you slept through it, I wasn't even sure if I felt what I thought I felt.

I felt a minor thing for about a minute somewhere between 4:30 and 5:00 this morning. I was temporarily awake at the time, but obviously not enough, because I kept wondering why using a certain French verb made the bed shake and the goddamn desk bang against the wall so much! [I did figure it out halfway through, at least. I'm just not used to earthquakes when awake.]

I bet tomorrow the newspaper here is full of all those articles that circulate every few years about how "OMG, we haven't had a major devastating earthquake for over a hundred years. WE MUST BE DUE ANY DAY NOW."

I live in West Michigan, and apparently the ripple effect was felt here too, though I didn't notice anything. I think we were right on the edge of it, though I have felt them before when I used to live in San Diego, CA.

Hehe, don't remind me about Calc. I'm still anxiously awaiting my test results, which come out on Tuesday. ^_^;;
