Water fun ^_^

Went to the 4th grade swim party today, it was really nice to see some of my favorite elementary kids again and to hang out with some of the parents and one of my teacher friends. Much fun was had by all, and the party gave me a chance to make a few more goodbyes. Only a week before I leave...I had trouble sleeping last night, I wonder if I'm ( Read more... )

Miss Entis, this is Erik! I just wanted to tell you that I would be commenting on every journal entry that you put in here, but, this "Comment on this" hyperlink was hard to see. I didn't notice it until this entry, I SWEAR! Anywayz, I hope that you aren't talking about St. Veronica! We're all great students! NOT! LOL! That was kind of funny! I'm even laughing! Anywayz, I'm really going to miss you when you leave. I can't say how much I'm going to miss you into words. We're going to have to stay in CONSTANT contact at all times. I love you!

Hey! I didn't get to finish what I wanted to say on the last one, LOL! Umm...I wanted to say "God Bless You" on your trip. I'm very happy for you. I wish I could go, but, hey, you're always the lucky one. LOL! Just playing. It's really cool that you get to go. I have sooo much fun in your classes, and, I bet, these kids are going to have even more fun even though you're not teaching them Art. LOL! In other terms, you're a spectacular teacher! I really and truly do think that you're going to do awesome. I'm glad that you aren't scared or anything. You shouldn't be that much. It just proves that you are a brave teacher, person, and mostly, a friend. I really do like you "not sucking up," and, let's have some more good times. HAVE FUN IN JAPAN! I'll miss you! Also, ummm, I have another message, but, it's to Asa ( ... )

I think this little review buttony thing is cool: Lauren anonymous July 18 2003, 14:38:24 UTC
I think this little review buttony thing is cool. I didn't see it before either. Trouble sleeping huh? Well it's only to be expected you're going thousands and thousands of miles away from home. Thousands and thousands and thousands of miles away from your already lonely best friend. *Harrumph* Oh! Did I say that out loud? I mean to say that everything will be fine and that you will have a great time and your students will be perfect little angles! Yeah, that's what I meant to say. :D

I think that even though I am over here in Germany, she will be closer to me. Well if we fly over the Artic and stuff. Anyway, I like the posting a comment thingy, it helps everyone stay in touch with Jessica.

Hey! It's Stacy. :D I wish you the best and I hope your change in environment/culture doesn't freak you out too much. I heard Japanese kids are very respectful of their teachers. That should be good for you ;). I saw this special on PBS Station about Japanese school kids. As I'm sure you know they are under a ton of pressure to perform well in school. They say there aren't many soft places to fall for these kids. Everyone pushes them. The take this stress out on each other. There is some serious hard core bullying going on between the kids. With your gentle nature I'm sure you will be a good teacher and a favorite amongst the kids. Worry not! :D
