Dear campus health services people,
I'm not pregnant. No, seriously, that's not even possible right now. ( Explanation of what the hell I'm talking about cut for possible TMI )

Ohh campus health. And bluh to irregular periods [mine has decided that two weeks is an appropriate length of time when it used to be 3-5 days].

Oh scientists love their puns. In the forensic science program I was in, they had some good ones.

I'm glad you have a new therapist! Especially one that you like. That's always important.

Irregular periods suck. Mine think that anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months is an acceptable interval. The regularity imposed by the pill was such a relief. 2 week long periods? Oh, I'm so sorry. Mine generally run 7-8 days and I thought that was bad.

New therapist is a very good thing. Particularly since I should have gotten one a while ago. A bad experience this spring put me off because I did not have the spoons to shop for a new one and potential have to deal with more bad experiences like that one, even though I knew that I really ought to have been seeing someone. Maybe if I had this summer would have been less of a disaster.

Mmmhmm, though it seems to have stopped today, amusingly [Thursdays are the day the boy and I see each other]. And it's been fairly light all two weeks.

Ah. I know that feeling all too well. Glad you had the spoons to get a new one now. :)

Glad it stopped in time for you to see your boy. *misses her own boy*

That's how it was whenever someone went to Health Services at my college, too. The first question they were asked was, "Are you pregnant?" The next question was, "Are you sure?" I think it's probably standard. :P

They didn't actually ask straight out if I was pregnant, it was more along the lines of
Them: Start date of your last period?
Me: *day in mid-October*
Them: ...
