The edges of the world

A thought came to me recently when thinking about war and religion and concentration of peoples. I think one major reason why I am attracted to the North is the fact that it's an edge of the world. Is on the edge just south .. and it is lovely. My cousin went to Chile in December .... had an interesting time....

One day I'm going to move deep into the forest and become one of those people who hoards cats. But I won't live in filth, and I'll bury them when they die rather than putting them in the freezer or leaving them to rot. I will be a sane crazy cat lady. I'll spend all my days simply playing with my cats, napping, and writing. After my death I will be hailed a genius.

I like the edges too, probably because I grew up by the sea.

I live just off the city centre here, and while I have the most stunning view of the whole city (especially nice at night) it makes me feel uneasy in a strange way. I'd be much happier with the suburbs if I have to stay here...
