I only laugh because people who don't live in really snowy areas have no concept of snow and, hence, have more snow days. When I lived in Seattle they would close schools for two inches of snow. INCHES! Northeast Ohio? More like two feet of snow, but cold is more the problem.
I'm in Taos at the moment and it's cold, but there's only a couple of inches of snow. Santa Fe was the same and you should have heard people bitch. I was like "Snow? You call this snow? Come on, if it's not thigh level on a normal adult, it's not snow!"
:D I read ALL DAY today (and none of it had anything to do with school). That Star Trek Academy book was AWESOME. I'm so depressed they never made more, Midshipman Kirk & Spock are wicked cool (even if their clothes are not)and Spock with a buzzcut *shudder* D:

I totes could use a snow day right now so I don't have to go to class and so I can play some Quidditch! But of course, we're getting snow showers instead. Ew.
