My entry for the Archie Kennedy Alphabet Soup challenge. I haven't written anything Hornblower related in months, because I don't class myself as being in the fandom anymore, so we'll see how this goes.

I'd take the credit for writing an unusual scene, but I kinda/sorta didn't really read the rules and thought that the fic had to be only Archie. And there's not a whole lot of opportunity for Archie to be on his own unless he's in prison. :/
