I'm excited for the Vastra and Jenny episode too. Even Jago and Litefoot got their own spin-off audio series, why can't Vastra and Jenny get somethign similar, dammit? Is it because they is lesbians?

My 7 year old left the room with about 10 minutes left... Had to convince her that the ending was good and not scary. <3

Can't we have a companion going "omg, that's amazing, that means we're all alive, all the time to you! That's brilliant!" A bit more glass half full and less emo would be winning.
Well she IS a ghost to him. And then the episode went on to make exactly the point you do: She is ALIVE!

And I did roll my eyes at UGLY ALIENS HAVE FEELINGS TOO. But whatevs, really, minor complaints about what was a proper good episode

I'm a bit nervous about next week. On the one hand, Vastra&Jenny totally not a backdoor pilot, omg, yay! AND DIANA RIGG. On the other, Gatiss is writing. FINGERS CROSSED.
