OH DOCTOR WHO WAS ON. And I did not write a post. SHOCKING. Anyway, just to add to the shock, I loved it. I know, it's astonishing, there is Matt Smith on the telly being the Doctor and I am aflail with glee. HOW TERRIBLY UNEXPECTED.

It is A REAL BOOK, and you can buy it (here, for Kindle) and it is rather superb. Very Children's Adventure, very Amy.)
And I don't imagine tomorrow's ep is going to make me want to smack him with a custard pie when he tells Clara that of course Amy would know.
*gigglesnort* ETA: Mind you, the dynamic is sort of the same Let me explain: Martha thought the Doctor was very keen on her (what with snogging her and all, and figures he is *saying* that he's not interested), and only belatedly realised that she was Rebound Girl. Clara is also aware that the Doctor is rather keen (since he, well turns up on her doorstep and is terribly eager for her to come with him) - but the difference is that he really IS keen. THIS! Times a million.
Also, Celia Imre is made of brilliance. I would recommend Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and Calendar Girls and the sitcom After You've Gone and Kingdom (Stephen Fry series) as starters. She never gives a bad performance. I ♥ her.

This is making me THE MOST HAPPY. What can I say, I like it when the Doctor likes his Companions and treats them well instead of going on about how They Aren't That One Person She Was So Much Better.
