Have just finshed Dragon Age 2. I am VERY HAPPY. I have MANY THINGS TO SAY that, if you bother to read them, possibly would only make any sort of sense to about three of you. NEVER MIND.

The most important thing is the DA2 is smashing, and the sort of sequel that The Sith Lords should have been to KotOR.

here are some other things I thought, probably has spoilers )

I've not yet gotten to that part in the playthrough (I've read spoilers), but so far, I've a bit of a soft spot for the twit who blows up the only neutral party. Because he is *just that badass*.

But Merryl and Fenris are awesome too, and I hate that I can only take four people in my party because I need a rogue (I'm not one myself), so that means I can never have all I want. Waaaaahhh... ;-)

I don't know whether to love or hate the twit. I like the character development, I miss his humour from Awakenings.

I kept ending up having fights be Far More Tricky than they were meant to be cause I wanted Isabela, Merril, Anders and/or Varrik in my party and was playing a mage so there was no tank for the damage, ALAS.

I do miss the humour a little. On the other hand, the way he berserks his way through fights? Awesome. And I sometimes think there are glimpses of the humour still there, just darkened to deep, deep black.

BF is playing a rogue, and he's still been doing much of the tanking, because he has exactly the same problem as you for the people he wanted to take along. For a dual wielding rogue, this can work. So I guess that my (I'm playing the mage too) default rogue will have to be Isabella, since the other available rogues are ranged. Or I may have to find a setup for a melee mage...
