I was hoping for a female Moriarty as well. Alas, I have no Sherlock Holmes related icons at all.

My personal theory is that the Jim Moriarty guy is a puppet, and it's actually Molly.

I WANT THAT TO BE TRUE SO BADLY.

I have decided that it is. Because that would mean that Molly is actually a diabolical genius capable of fooling Sherlock, the most observant guy in the world, into believing that she's a meek little mouse.

Yah, I was almost expecting a lady Moriarty. Actual Moriarty was a disappointment. Mycroft was scarier.

Damn, if Moffat does write Adler next season, I might actually have to watch yet another show. (And if I don't like her in that version, I will have to hate Teh Moff forever and ever!)

the bbc version with peter cushing and nigel stock is actually one of my very favourite adaptaions of HOUN -- maybe my actual favourite. i mean, it still has its flaws, but i remember thinking it was much better than any other verion i'd seen. (it's been a few years since i've watched it, though).
