Big Finish are having a whacking great sale tomorrow with the first fifty audios all reduced to £5. Which is great, apart from the fact that I stopped buying Every Single One somewhere in the fifties so, um, yes. Boo. Nevertheless, I shall use my complete knowledge of these first fifty for the powers of good! Like so:

Hee! I have actually heard and loved most of these! :D And now want to listen to the rest. I was about to be cross more Nyssa wasn't in this list but then IIRC her awesomer stories are all higher than 50.

Ironically, so many of my favourite stories have Evelyn in them and she's the companion I dinnae like.

I did notice this, it is rather entertaining. And yes, ironic. I'm not that fussed about Evelyn so far but I've only made it through like one part of The Marion Conspiracy and listened to The Apocalypse Element approximately a bajillionty times. ;D

YOU HAVE MIGHTY FINE TASTE. I have listened to and adored pretty much everything on that list. Especially the ones with Erimem in. (Church and the Crown is also one of my favourites, and would be even if it didn't have Five snarking while being tortured.)

I quite like Evelyn in Marian Conspiracy and then am irritated with her in Apocalypse Element, but that's okay because it has Romana and that's really the most important thing.

I'd reccomend Winter of the Adept for Nyssa. Tis very femmeslashy and there is an adorable ghost and Nyssa's sense of adventure gets hypothermia because Five is a bit of a dumbass.

Also, I really love that the audios didn't really change Peri, they just let her live up to all of her potential. Just as loud indeed.

SO I SHOULD NOT GET MASTER, IS WHAT YOU'RE SAYING. Really, I read the summary and made a nasty face. Just...no.

I echo what you write about The Kingmaker. Best audio of them all. Everyone needs to own at least three copies, in case the first one gets stolen, and the second one gets dust on.

Incidentally, how annoying would you say Evelyn was in Jubilee? Just curious!

Mildly. I don't think she managed to Properly Irritate me at all but by that point I was biased enough against her that I was mildly irritated by her presence. So, y'know, well done! Or something. Ahem.
