My Own Maker Faire

I have heard wonderful tales of the amazing creations and performances at Maker Faire, and for a while I was convinced that I was going to attend, however, when I find that weekend after weekend I procrastinate working on my own projects in pursuit of the latest event that everyone is going to I start to convince myself that my own projects are not ( Read more... )

Have you considered looking into quick change costumes? You know you can magically cahange from one outfit to another.

Yes! As a matter of fact, I have considered looking into that. I think a big poofy clown costume could hide any number of costumes beneath it. I am thinking more of the birthday present which is a box wrapped within a box wrapped within a box kinda thing.

I've been sanding and staining the hardwood floors at my new studio space as well - they came out beautiful! Tomorrow night we finish the ventilation system before heading over to The Horseshoe to catch Bella's show. The space is looking in-fucking-credible and is going to be *the* art hangout once we're all up and running.

Huzzah for projects of a personal nature!
