i wanted to do the peace corps before college, too. but remember that youre gonna be gone for over 2 years. thats a very long time at our age-ish. (yea, i know, i was still like 'so what? i want to do it.') so then remember that they want people with a 4 year degree (or some crazy work experience in some area like agriculture or...i dont know. construction or osmething like that. and sometimes theyll even take a 2 year degree so long as its paired with the same sort of work experience). so chances are that youre not actually qualified yet and you shouldnt get your hopes up. you should definitely do it later on, though. both because of requirements and because i just think youll be better able to do what you need to and youll personally get a lot more out of it a few years down the road. but thats just me. dont listen to me; even i dont usually. but if you DO listen... and you want to join still in a few years? let me know cause ill be looking into it again and it would be super to have someone else going throught the same process.
