The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore - Comic - Part One
Well, this is odd. I never thought I was actually going to post this because I started working on this comic two years ago! It´s about how Dumbledore meets Grindelwald, what happens to Ariana and the last part is mostly Dumbledore fighting dark wizards and Grindelwald himself.
It´s quite long; I divided it into ten parts more or less and I still need to clean up some pages (and add some text). Yeah, I call it the Insane Project of Doom. Originally, I just wanted to practice a bit of storytelling that wasn´t storyboarding and then it just got out of hand. :)
It´s all in pencil. At one point I was quite optimistic and thought I was going to be able to paint the whole thing, but now I know it´s never going to happen. :)
Ok, and here are a few warnings:
1- As you know, English is not my first language. I spell checked the text but my grammar remains unchecked, I´m afraid. So, if anybody reads the story, suggestions are more than welcome!
2- It´s pretty manga-ish. Yeah, I´m a lot into manga and anime so there's a lot of influences there (from the way the characters look, to the way they speak and the way the story is told)
3- Er... this one is rather big, actually. I replaced the wands for staffs And I don´t even have a very good explanation for it, other than I wanted to draw a lot of action sequences and the wands didn´t look all that cool. It´s really shallow but since I was going to draw around 100 pages I wanted to draw staffs!
4- There might be some swearing.
Other than that I think it´s quite PGish.

Edit: OK, so this is the really funny edit. You can laugh and insert all types of jokes here.
I got some comments saying that Kendra looked like she was Native American and that her description was on Chapter 11 of DH. And, er, OMG I so didn´t read that! All I remember about that chapter was Lupin mopping (a lot) and that's it.
I swear I was not trying to imitate M. Night Shyamalan´s casting for The Last Airbender. Ughhhh!
So I made a new Kendra. :D The red head one is just a cousin of Percival that just happens to have the exact same name as his wife! Really, those things happen all the time .
Anyway, here's the new picture. And thank you guys for pointing that out to me! :)
