I don't know what surprises me more, the fact that someone actually wrote femmeslash for Jeri Ryan's L&O:SVU character (aka the pedo club's defense attorney), or that she wasn't paired with Olivia. I'm almost afraid to read it, honestly.

What you need to know about SVU is that Elliot and Olivia are Bad Cops/borderline sociopaths, Alex is a prosecutor who shares lots and lots of subtext with Olivia, and Jeri's character, Patrice LaRue, is an eeeevil defense attorney (as are all defense attorneys in SVU-verse) who, in her two appearances, has defended a serial rapist/murderer and a pedophile club. She will probably die horribly at some point in the future. This being Jeri Ryan, however, femmeslashy subtext surrounding her character is present despite her evilness, much to my surprise.
