Yay, scan pic!
27 weeks already, it's flown by! (the last few weeks certainly won't fly for you, though, sorry!)
So when's the due date?
A boy! Congratulations! I myself don't know anything about raising boys. If I got one I wouldn't know what to do with it. :-S

seriously, that was my mixed response! I'm excited it's a boy, okay - what do I do with a boy?? haha. A friend with two sons (and no daughters) just said "prepare for a lot of fart jokes." sage advice, I think.

The official due date is Feb 15th. We'll see how punctual he is, though!

And lots of belching, especially as the boy gets older. A while back, we instituted one night a week during dinner as burp night. It made me feel better to try and control this and restrict it to one night. At least that's the theory, which doesn't always work.

That goes so much more quickly when it's happening to other people...

Erin, that's so lovely!
I do adore scans of wee babies.
I can't believe that you are at 27 weeks already. It seems like only yesterday that you were saying you would be coming to live in the UK.
I think my internal time clock has gone bonkers.

The scan looks like your son has a clown nose ;) He's going to be a joker ;)

Exciting, except I've knitted girl clothes. They are more fun to knit!

Try sleeping with a pillow under you, it helps. Sort of lined up with the small of your back and under your tummy. I used to get bad pins and needles in my feet, as well as the tossing and turning in bed.

Can you imagine what it was like when I was wisked away for our last weekend away before children, only to find we had a water bed! Every time I turned over I propelled John out on a wave. And I couldn't get in and out of the bed without assistance - I was truely beached.
