Not to mention the request, more of an order, had been given after sex, which was no time to be making promises, and Chris thought it was well within the rules to break

Yeah, we figured they could do something as unusual as celebrating an entire year's worth of holidays in a week, since they'd be missing so much time to invest in their careers.

ah this was so fantastic. i loved everything about it!
Chris grinned, hands resting on his lap, unmoving. “I'm thankful,” he started, “for American Idol.”
Blake scowled, “Are you telling me the name of our sponsors now?”
“Shut up, will you. I meant I'm thankful for ever meeting you.”
“That sounds final.”
“Whatever happens,” Chris continued, “what we had, what we're having, I'll always be thankful for.”

...yeah. Tell me about it. Isa kinda killed me too with the Thanksgiving bit. LOL.
