I'll be back once this is all over, okay?

[Luke made sure to cover up the little camera that records his face as he writes, and he does so all the way until he shuts the journal. It seems that's all he's going to do

It's in times like these that Miya really appreciates being a poncle, too. Why? Well, she's making good time hopping from rooftop to rooftop, slipping only one time. Issun's legs were a lot more muscular than hers were, and it showed - she couldn't jump like this herself. Not in succession, at least.
Once she arrives outside Luke's door, she looks ruffled and very much male, but otherwise fine. And she has a hefty bag of foodstuffs in her arms. Knock, knock!]

The second thing is the smokey smell in the room. Looks like he tried cooking already. And failed.]

She chokes out a laugh, making it into a cough, and steps inside. Once Miyabi catches wind of that burnt smell, nose scrunching up, she puts her bag down and frowns.]
Luke, did you burn something?

Is anything broken?
[Because she can totally fix it. She Has her sword at her side, after all, and Miya's all but mastered Rejuvenation. Oh, and she's also taking her bag and heading toward the kitchen. B| Lets do this.]

[There's just melted and very burned cheese in the microwave, that's all. He sighs and follows after Miya, waving his own hand in front of his nose. Ewww, burned cheese. D|]

[Miyabi smiles and puts a hand over the hilt of her sword, almost affectionately, but has to use it immediately to cover her nose. Urgh, it smelled like a bomb went off!]
What were you trying to make?! Go open a window or something, I can barely breathe...and I'll try to clean whatever it was that you burnt. You can go and relax or something.
[Basically, "get out of my kitchen".]

You sure you don't need any help in there?

Oh, darn her kind heart.]
Can you chop some vegetables while I make the broth and noodles, please? I was thinking we could have hōtō. It's a popular noodle soup of my homeland. We can have steamed white rice for the side, and for dessert...I was thinking some sweet dumplings. Does that sound okay?

That sounds okay... And I can chop vegetables. That's easy!

Thank you for you help, Luke. Wash the vegetables before you cut them though. And your hands, too!
[Yes, she is asking that. :| You'd be surprised by how many people don't do those simple steps. Oh, and you might want to tell her your veggie preference, Luke, because there are definitely carrots included there.]
