I'm hoping there's still some people around here because I need a little help. I am throwing my parents a surprise 25th anniversary party and I need help with where I can get a cake topper. I don't want something cheap, I want something they can display afterwards. Does anyone have any ideas for me that they've used or have had clients use?

Is there a cake supply store in your area? Or check online?

Do you have a recommendation of what I should search under? I've tried 25th anniversary cake topper or variations of that on google, ebay, amazon and nothing really comes up.

I did a search myself and saw mostly the number 25

Same and I wanted something nicer. I had found a really beautiful figurine but before I could purchase it someone else did on etsy. I haven't been able to find the same one again.

Have you tried etsy?

Some of the store you can request something made. It just depends on the style you like

I was going to suggest Etsy too. I always order something for both my kids cakes on there and save them for keepsakes. Never been disappointed by any of the vendors.

I did look on etsy and nothing I found seemed to be my mom's style. But I'm going to look through again and maybe something will pop up this time.

Not sure if you're still looking for feedback, but I would do a google search for '25th Wedding Anniversary keepsake', or statue or gift. All of those searches come up with a variety of different things that would work as a cake topper.

I've see Precious Moments or Willow Tree statues/figurines used. An etched glass hurricane lamp or other candle holder? Depending on the size/shape of the cake, even a lovely picture frame would work nicely!

I think the trick is to think outside the box on what constitutes a 'cake topper'. Some other things to keep in mind would be the weight of the object (though, I had a friend who had a very heavy ceramic gazebo on a tiered cake and it held up!) - and also any risks to 'clean-up' of the item (is it something that direct contact with frosting might damage...)

I was thinking of suggesting using a figurine they can keep afterwards.
skitz beat me to the punch!

That's what my plan was from the start. I had one that was perfect but I guess the seller only had one and it sold before I was going to buy it.

I've searched through google for hours and hours for something. I think I may have found something but I'm not 100% sure yet. I want to keep looking just in case I find something else. I have until March but I wanted to get in sooner so that it's one less thing I have to worry about then.
