Yeah, i sure did... i guess it is a southern thing, i think it honors the person you are saying it to. I still say it to this day to those who are in authority over me.
I was pretty stubborn about that thing with my dad, but i am sure it had much deeper roots than me just not honoring the lady at the store... My dad was overly strict and i am sure i was "fighting back" the only way i knew how..
