I have charged ahead and organized a reunion for my homies from Cathedral Girls' Class of 1989 in September. It started on Facebook, with a few of us talking about getting together, then it ballooned into an event. Okay, seriously? Those 4 bullet points totally illuminate WHY I LIKE YOU! If we were re-meeting after almost 20 years I'd be wanting to sit next to you for sure.

The word "eccentric" comes to mind, esp. with the birds and the cat. You should fill your wallet full of photos of them to show at the reunion to reinforce your eccentricity. And if there's anything about who you've become that you are uneasy with, do what other people do:
(1) don't mention it.
(2) totally lie and come up with something more interesting and exciting.

But seriously, why don't you turn the reunion into an Am Jam? Perform there. Guaranteed to feel like a million bucks after that.
