I think that maybe, rather than flaunting the relationship, he's just trying to be very casual about it. Which sort of has the same effect...

maybe. but they were acting like tara and ryan. at first there was someone else in the bathroom with the three of us. then that guy left then they started being gross, doing little kisses and cuddling in the bathroom. it just felt off.
