Hair and Dragons

[complain]I purchased some shampoo and conditioner made especially for frizzy hair.  I'm a white chick, but I've got extra frizzy and kinky hair.  Well needless to say, it failed miserably - so now I'm at work and look like a poodle.  grrrr.[/complain]

*grumbles and glares at bad shampoo*
If you have the moolah, I recommend Aveda products. They've done me right so far. But can I pet the growly poodle? I don't mind a bite now and then.

I'm going to give it one more try tomorrow morning, after all, it was rainy here today. But I ended up twisting the *(*$%#$@# stuff with a hemastat and clipping it into a bun after a little girl started crying and many of my co-workers commented that it must be the bride of Frankenstein look I was sporting.

Pet all you want. I hear that petting and playing with animals can actually boost your RBC and T-cell production... :)

Wait a girl was crying because of your HAIR?!?! What the heck.

The girl was crying because she was sick, scared, and didn't want the big bad nurses to give her a shot.

My stupid co-workers said it was the bride of Frank hair.

Awe... *huggles* is it rainy by you? it's rainy here & even my relatively straight hair is a bit on the frizzy side, so maybe it's not the shampoo...

I'm going to hope that it was the rain and mist and fog and general humidity... grrrr.

It probably is... I wish i knew what to suggest to get your hard to "behave." Maybe tomorrow's weather will be nicer?

It had better be, or Sensei may not be the only one sporting a pixie cut!

CB springs? Are they bouncy? Do I have any?

:snicker:

You know I read your post three times before I got it.

I play with seasonal dragon lineages (like this: http://dragcave.net/lineage/eKOV ) and I'm having the worst time finding the Seasonals that come from the cave itself. I'm not the only one, though. Others who play the same way I do as far as these lines are having trouble catching the cave born springs.

My hair is wavy when I get out of the shower but straightens once dry, however it is thick and long. Except when it's humid/damp/rainy. Then I have 50,000 fine hairs that pop up into frizz like I stuck my finger in a light socket. I look ridiculous. My sister has waste length, tightly curled hair, but she puts stuff in it. The stuff she uses is... *waiting for a text back* ... I'll tell you when she answer me.

When I'm not egg locked I'll try for some for you. No trade necessary. :-)

I definitely had the finger in a light socket look kicking today. I finally twisted the stuff up with a hemastat until I could get home!

I appreciate the offer. They're just not showing up in the rotation very much!

She says she uses mousse and cream.

A lot isn't showing up in the rotation, which bites. I'll let you know as soon as I'm ready. Should be a couple days.
