If I am going to be reading Het, I am a diehard Inu/Kag shipper. I love them. Why then have I just spent the last 12ish hours completely engrossed in a Sess/Kag piece?

Why?

I don't even usually LIKE Sess/Kag. I usually want him to end up with Inu, and if not him, then Kagura.

She is almost done with this one. One more chapter and epilogue.
She fed my reading habit by posting one and two chapters a day She went back and added a few chapters to Seclusion The best part for me is that she always includes Inuyasha and never engages in hanyou abuse.

I would recommend her stories to anyone.

I may take a look at the others if they are like this one. I grow tired of hanyou abuse. Hanyou hurt/comfort? sure, but not bashing.
I started this one because it was nomed over on IYFG.

Heh, but I write my yaoi/yuri in my poly amorous universe. I don't like Sessh/Kagome...makes Sesshomaru too OOC.

I don't disagree, and yet, putting Sesshoumaru in a romantic relationship with ANYONE is arguably quite OOC. Parental with Rin seems most presented, but making him a sexy sadist to Jaken's masochism or banging his little brother when he was younger is no more or less OOC than confessing a fondness for a certain short-skirted Miko, right? LOL

I love the way your mind works. InuKag but ideally Inucest and throw in Kagura if you must. Then, suddenly, OMG hot SessKag action! We all want to know what story it is, of course. ^_^

The thing is, I'm actually into the story. Start off with an exceedingly downtrodden but proud Youkai class (which the author writes about without throwing in the poor pitiful me syndrome), then add in an exceedingly strong friendship that touches on all the things about Inu/Kag that I normally love about the two together. Then sprinkle in a little Shippou that isn't a pain in the ass but rather comes across as a child forced into adulthood too quickly. Then the author rounds it all off with a Miroku that uses his brain a lot, rather than being just a grope hound, and a couple of interesting OC's.

Now y'all are gonna go read it and think it's crap. :giggle: Just ignore some of the glaring misspellings and word misuse and enjoy the action/adventure for what it is.

Ah plot-driven fic. It eludes me as a writer but I do love it as a reader. Funny, though, lately I'm reading non-fic and not fic (published) and only reading short-short fanfic.

InuKag with an Inucest chaser and a Kagura sidecar. Drink of champions.
