Scott and I are doing a Firefly-themed wedding. His family is non-too-thrilled, cos, well, they're stuck up in multiple ways. However it does cheer me to think of their faces when they realize they'll be stuck for several hours in a room largely filled with Southerners saying things like "We will rise again, gorrammit

Not really, since I'm not a huge fan of that sort of thing. Frankly I'm in favor of just obtaining some Inara-esque bling and calling it a day on the personal decoration front. ;)
