Question for my Flist friends who watch Doctor Who: Would it make sense for me to start watching this season, or should I do it from the beginning and marathon over the summer?

because it seems like everyone is excited about this season, and I want to see what all the fuss is about. :D

Just start watching it now. It's a new doctor so a lot of what has already happened will be pushed aside for things that are new to him.

Thanks for the advice. I tried watching the first few episodes of DW, and I wasn't particularly interested. However, tons of people seem to enjoy it so I thought I'd give it another chance :)

Well, I'd start with Nine, cause honestly, Nine and Ten are awesome, New Who started with Nine and some things with Eleven might be pretty confusing without background information.
But I'm thrilled you consider giving this wonderful show a chance, so just watch it!!
I think it would be possible to start with this series, and maybe you fall in love with it so much that you'll start over from the (New Who) beginning anyway!! :D

I think I tried watching it once before, but I was really confused as to why there were mannequins walking around... But I'm going to give it another try this summer (starting with the new who) and see how it goes :)
