syncing movies with my iPod Touch

Can someone help me? I wanted to chuck "Iron Man" (not to mention all of 4 other things) on my iPod Touch for this weekend but I'm a wee bit nervous. I've gone to the "Movies" tab on my iPod Touch in iTunes and when I go to click "Sync" it tells me (and I kid you not):

"Are you sure you want to sync movies? All existing songs, movies and TV shows

iTunes will do that. There are apps (whose names escape me) which can extract the music and movies that are already on there. that's probably worth doing ...
