VERY interesting: WoW Insider, the biggest blog covering WoW, was shut down by its owners, and the staff responded by running a Patreon to keep going - which has immediately been successful

They're still going to have advertising - but it looks like they're going to try and keep it firewalled off from editorial. We'll see how well that works out!
