Ah, Saturday. I actually slept late this morning for the first time in what's felt like ages.

Some personal ramblings... )

I like the idea of an "Aragorn a day"! :)

Sorry about your mom's health issues. Dealing with parents with health issues is really stressful.

Thank you... I do hope she starts to improve.

I've done Aragorn-a-day here for several years now (gosh, time really flies!). It's a ton of fun, and I hope to continue doing it for a long time to come. :)

I'm sorry things have been so tough for your mom! Glad to hear she's heading to see a counselor, hopefully that will alleviate some of the anxiety. Many *hugs* to both of you.

You're giving me impetus to start checking DW on a more regular basis, haha. Twice the Aragorn is twice the fun! *G*

Thank you... *hugs* back. It's just a hard time at the moment but hopefully things will get better.

Twice the Aragorn is always nice. *g*

Sorry to hear about the ah... 'parental issues'.

I'll look at DW when I'm on the big machine - I don't have my login on the laptop.

Thank you... hopefully things will start looking up for my mom. *fingers crossed*

I figure if I'm going to use DW and encourage others to, I should, gee, actually post things there!

Glad to hear Mum is turning around; and hopefully the counselor will help her coping with all this. You and Dad could probably use a little coping as well.

*claps enthusiastically* They were all good artists in the contest. I had a hard time picking one. LoL

Thank you... Dad and I could definitely use some coping, or perhaps a private live-in nurse! But that's out of range of our pocketbooks, alas.

And thank you! I had a hard time choosing, too. I'm looking forward to the next challenge.

Yay! So you managed to set up the councelling appointments. That is good news indeed. And it's also great that your mom is feeling more cheerful.

You know I'm keeping everything crossable crossed things improve, and you manage to have more time of your own to do stuff you like like writing fanfiction.

That's a lovely icon. Congratulations on the first place.

Thank you... it was a fun contest to enter.

And yes, finally got them set up. When I called their office, the clerk said he was getting ready to call me, as they'd just gotten in the approvals, etc, they needed. Now all that remains is to go and see how Mom takes it. She's not ever been a believer in any sort of counseling (she's of that generation/mindset that thinks it's all hogwash and you should just buck up, etc) but I think this time she might be more open to it. *fingers crossed*

I'm keeping everything crossable crossed the counselling works so well, your mom turns into a complete believer.
